Ice Cream Parlor Party

We are sooo excited to share this ICE CREAM PARLOR birthday party with you! What is better than “cold-stone” style ice cream? Not much! I love picking out my “mix-ins” (I always go for peanut butter cups) and watching them work their magic on my ice cream. This frozen treat also happened to be the inspiration for birthday girl Katie! As each girls arrived, they were given their very own ICE CREAM GOODY BAG that included a handmade ruffle apron, ice cream notepad, pencil, and soda jerk hat.  I wish I could have attended this party, don’t you?! Read on….it gets even cuter! (PLUS TIPS FOR HOSTING YOUR OWN PARTY)

The birthday table was decorated to give a parlor-like atmosphere.  Filled with every mix-in a girl could want! {sprinkles, nut topping, strawberries, bananas, chocolate & caramel syrup, whipped topping}  Cute little jars were filled with an aray of candies and treats from heath bar, pb cups, kit kats, m&ms, mini chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, oreos, & brownie chunks. The centerpiece were mini ice cream cake pops made by Pop.o.Licious.

Girls started out by decorating their Parlor hats with markers & ice cream stickers.  Then each girl got to create their OWN ice cream flavor TWICE, one to take home in an ice cream container, and one to enjoy at the party.  Next, girls had fun creating ice cream sundaes with perler beads.  To end the party, girls wished Katie a happy birthday and enjoyed ice cream cone cupcakes.  DELISH!
