Isaac’s 1st Birthday Bash
Isaac’s 1st Birthday Bash
I don’t have kids of my own (yet!), but I love this sweet boy like my own. Isaac holds a special place in my heart so I was thrilled to help design his 1st birthday party! Isaac’s Mom loved these striped melamine plates from Target. I love the blue, yellow, and green! We designed the entire party around this pattern.
We loved this banner made by Paula of Frog Prince Paperie so she gladly custom designed Isaac’s banner to match the plates! It could not have been more perfect. You can also visit Frog Prince’s shop here. Isaac’s Mom also wanted a cute high chair banner and birthday hat. Juliet of Stylish Celebrationst did a great job customizing his mini banner and birthday hat! And thank you to my fabulous writer, Katie Saeger, for helping me design the favor boxes which I filled with chocolate chip cookies.
Not only was it Isaac’s 1st birthday, but also Isaac’s Dad’s birthday too! An oreo lover, it was a must to have oreos on his cake. Isaac had a small green cake. I also made chocolate dipped oreos, chocolate dipped strawberries on green and white striped straws from Hey YoYo, and chocolate drizzled pretzels. The guests definitely had their sweet tooth satisfied. Isaac’s parents made a delicious slider bar with over 12 toppings with everything from grilled pineapple and 3 kinds of pickles to homemade chili! Delicious!
Today is actually Isaac’s real 1st Birthday, so Happy Birthday Sweet Boy – I’m going to make your Mommy let me give you another piece of cake tonight!
Thanks to KC Hopkins for helping with pictures! I’ll leave you with a few others of Isaac!

Gorgeous details!! What a cute party,..and what an ADORABLE kid.
Oh my! This is one cute party. My favorite part – the blue chocolate covered strawberries. Now, I’ve made them in white and dark chocolate, but blue – what a cool and unexpected twist. And of course I love your oreo cake – isn’t it funny that when you try to cover-up mistakes that you sometimes come up with even more creative ideas? :)
