John Deere Tractor Party!
Growing up in the south, you see lots of John Deere tractors! Their recognizable green + yellow tractors make them a favorite of little boys everywhere! So Laura of Live Smile Celebrate helped throw her nephew’s Tractor Party in, you got it, green + yellow!
The double-sided invitation said “Grab your boots and get in gear, our little Deere’s birthday is almost here!“ The back showed a picture of Peter driving off on his own tractor and said “See Ya’ll Real Soon.” Cuteness.
Place settings were yellow & green plates, green polka dot napkins and a wooden fork. Laura made personalized name tags for each of the kids. “The drinks were my favorite,” she said. The tires above were Monster Truck cups which I replaced with my own tractor sticker. They were the perfect “Tractor” tire. The kids loved them!
“I had a couple simple centerpieces to the table. I used bamboo sticks and place one of my printable signs inside the pail and topped it with fake grass.” – Laura
The dessert table was kept simple with cupcakes adorned with tractor fondant toppers and cupcake printable toppers. Kids enjoyed marshmallow pops + animal crackers.
DIRT CAKE: My sister came up with the cutest idea for the cake which she found on Pinterest. She put a box of oreos into the blender to crush them all up to make it look like “dirt.” It was perfect! She placed the “dirt” inside the back of one of Peter’s tractor with a candle on top.
FAVORS: Favors were Mason jars filled with cookie mix which I’ve seen many times online. I think it’s the cutest favor that families can do together. I created instructions and name tags to each of the favors and a piece of tractor fabric.
