Mother Daughter Tea Party!
I‘m a sucker for darling tea parties like this one submitted by Melissa Brown. She created this party to bring together her friends and their daughters before the craziness of school started. It was a way to enjoy the last bit of summer with a tea party for the girls! The party included everything from dress up with vintage jewelry and accessories to a deliciously darling spread of treats! Take a look at the gorgeous invitation…
It’s easy to see that the girls loved playing dress up and having tea! From vintage pearls and clip-on earrings to gloves and fascinators, they were sipping (white grape juice) in style. They nibbled on PB&J sandwiches cut into butterflies, cupcakes, fruit, French macarons, and cake pops.
Melissa shared more party details with us!
“Since the summer was winding down and there was not a ton of color in the gardens, we made beautiful paper flowers as well as the beautiful fabric bunting. While the little ones enjoyed their time dressing up, long long bouts of looking in the vintage mirror and snacking on treat, the moms got a chance to catch up at their own table.  Dressed with all mismatched vintage china, silverware, tea pots, serveware, and linens. The drink station offered a number of options all incorporating the abundance of mint growing in the garden. While I made the fascinators up in advance it would also made a great project for the mom and daughters to work on together during the party.” – Melissa
I absolutely loved playing with paper dolls as a little girl. I love how she incorporated them into this tea party!

This is absolutely adorable. My girls grew up going with me to tearooms. These little girls will never forget this!
