Candyland Birthday Party Ideas

Who doesn’t love Candy?! It makes the perfect party theme (especially when it’s summer and you add in a pool, right?)! So when MOOD Events & Production submitted this adorable CANDYLAND themed birthday party, we knew we had to share it with y’all! It’s full of super cute ideas for lots of parties and celebrations (like the chocolate swamp? hello! too cute). The team at MOOD set the stage for how this adorable party came to life:

Lucy’s mom, Hailey, is an avid hostess and throws the most amazing parties for her children, her husband’s business, and of course, herself (see the glamorous 30th birthday party we designed for her this past May here).  Hailey came to us a few months ago wanting to throw an over-the-top Candyland themed birthday party for sweet little Lucy, or “Lu” as they like to all her.

When we first met with Hailey to begin planning Lucy’s party, here came Lucy, straight out of bed and still in her pajamas, with a bag of Skittles in hand, munching away.  Needless to say, Candyland was the perfect fit for this soon-to-be 3 year old.

MORE CANDYLAND BIRTHDAY PARTY DETAILS

Lucy’s Candyland birthday adventure took place in her backyard, complete with the following candy “lands”: Snow Cone Slopes, Chocolate Swamp, Lollipop Woods, Gumdrop Mountains, Kiddos Rainbow Pass, Soda Sea & Candy Path, Whirly Twirly Eats & Treats, Waffle Cone Castle, Snowflake “Float” Lake and Princess Lucy’s Sweets Shoppe.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with tray-passed snow cones.  Other delightful eats included Belgian Waffles with candy toppings, old-fashioned soda floats complete with a lollipop garnish, Lucy’s Signature drink, the “Whirly Temple” garnished with Pop Rocks and cotton candy, a chocolate fountain station, oodles of candy and scrumptious desserts and of course, homemade gelato, waffle cones and sprinkles.  The staff wore custom-designed t-shirts with the saying “I’m Sweet on Lucy,” we had an amazing face painting artist on-site, and the kids also created their own candy jewelry necklaces and bracelets.

We especially adore Lucy’s spectacular birthday cake and innovative gameboard invitation. Too cute! We definitely found lots of Candyland birthday party ideas in this party, and we hope you did too!
