Peacock Sip ‘n See
Peacock Sip ‘n See
As many of you know, I just finished up a Peacock themed event and have had all things Peacock on the brain lately. So when Beth Beattie sent me this darling Peacock Sip ‘n See, I knew I had to share it with you! It is so neat to see the same theme done for an engagement party and a sip ‘n see! For those who do not know what a sip ‘n see is – because my statistics show lots of you searching “what is sipnsee” – it is a party thrown after baby is born – to “sip” drinks and “see” the baby! I love Beth’s designs for this sip ‘n see.
As told by Beth: “The peacock theme was one of the nursery décor choices, so after our client chose a beachy option, we decided to do the Sip & See in the peacock theme. We designed custom invites, stationery for thank yous, hang tags, pick sticks and a pattern Gumdrop Cookie Shop printed for us. The guests loved them and Gumdrop Cookie Shop did an amazing job recreating the design. There was a “hand wash station” with monogrammed Luke towels with the peacocks and a sign that read “He’s as cute as he can be. Please wash your hands so he stays germ free.” Guests enjoyed the “peacocktail” which was champagne with a splash of Blue Curacao and tea sandwiches by Christafaro’s Catering. Peacock feathers were added to the centerpieces to keep the theme throughout the table settings. The dessert table featured cupcakes and cheesecake pops compliments of Southern Belle’s Cakery, M&M’s in apothecaries, a large branchy centerpiece, all incorporating the light blue and teal color palette.”
My favorite part? The “Peacocktails” – that color is so gorgeous – and such a cute name for the drink!

This is so stinkin’ cute! My sister is pregnant and might have to wait until after her baby’s born to have a get-together so my mom can attend… she would love this! I’d love to feature it on my blog – http://simplystunningideas.blogspot.com. I’ll be sure to link back if you’d like to check it out!!
