Talayeh shared party details with us about all the cute CARS decorations!

“While looking for inspiration for the CARS 2 party, I thought what better place than Pep Boys! I set the table for the children using hub caps with their names on the back of their seats. Each child had a Movie Snack Pack on their plate with various candies, a CARS 2 labeled water bottle and their movie ticket. The table runner was a series of scrapbook paper that reminded me of a racetrack and I placed several of the character cars along the track. The kids enjoyed some homemade pizza & sipped cold lemonade while listening to the CARS soundtrack. I used a leather black & red steering wheel cover and yellow oil funnels to complete the CARS feel on the dessert table (also purchased from Pep Boys).

Once the kids were ready to head to the movie theatre, the Movie Snack Packs were stashed in a beach bag and handed out once seated at the theatre. The kids and adults enjoyed the movie and had a memorable time at the pre-party!

All decor was purchased at Pep Boys, Michael’s & Party City. Cupcakes were purchased from Ralph’s.”

Easy, fun, and perfect for a CARS 2 party!

Beautiful party. Like the lemonade bottles. Can I ask where you got this?

  3. This party is too fun! I am doing a Cars theme for my son’s 3rd birthday in March and would love to know where you got the tires for the tops of the drink/lemonade bottles! That is such a cute idea! I love it! I can’t wait to put all the details together for my sons birthday! He is a Lightening McQueen fanatic! :o)

    Thanks!

    1. Thank you, Sarah! I got the tires off a John Deere car truck in the toy section. They were elastic and just the right width. They slid right off and onto the lemonade bottle neck. I hope you have a great time planning your son’s 3rd birthday!!
