Joellyn of Sweet Soirees is one multi-talented gal! She designed, created, baked, and photographed this darling party for a client. After learning that the birthday girl loved “modern + giraffes”, Joellyn was able to turn her favorite things into a sweet birthday display to remember! She picked up the grey houndstooth and yellow chevron fabrics from JoAnn Fabrics. After finding inspiration around the web, she created her modern giraffe print using an inexpensive $5 frame, paper, and ribbon from Michael’s!

“I was so excited when I remembered I had a mini bow cookie cutter in my collection that added that extra cuteness factor to the giraffe cookies and the cake. I created the cupcake toppers, buffet labels and banners from digital scrapbook paper that I printed.” – Joellyn
