Milk and Cookies Valentine’s Day Party!
I squealed with delight when I saw this uber-cute this “Cookies and Milk” Valentine’s Day party by Bird from Bird’s Party! Lucky for all of us, the printables are available in Bird’s shop and would be perfect for boys, girls or even grown-ups! :) She’s one of the most talented party designer I know, and lives in Paris (how fun!). She also publishes a gorgeous online magazine that is a total must-see! 
Bird turned to her resourceful side to set up the party, using props and decorations she already had at home, like a pink sheet from her daughter’s bedroom as the tablecloth and pink crepe paper pomanders she made last year for a bridal party. Bird pinned felt hearts onto a fabric backdrop to emulate the heart-shaped ballons from the printables. She whipped them up by sewing together two heart shapes out of red felt with a thick thread, filling them with batting and hot-gluing a piece of string to the back. Adorable!
To add loads of charm and carry out the theme, she used the printable scrapbook papers, cupcake toppers, printable cut-outs and editable buffet cards from the collection to embellish the mini-dessert table items like the candy jars, milk bottles, straws, cupcakes, prop boxes, party favors and the Valentine’s gifts. The printable party invites are also included in the collection and can be edited digitally!
Bird tells us all about the delicious, chic and easy treats from the party:
“The food was simple but tasty – Homemade choc-chip cookies and chocolate bark cupcakes, pink meringues from my local bakery, heart-shaped candy sours, mini chocolate bars, and off course milk! The cupcakes were decorated with heart cut-outs and cupcake toppers from the collection and displayed inside a brown gift bow filed with pink dragées. ” – Bird’s Party
Carrying out the “milk and cookies” theme, party favors were packaged in sweet little milk carton favor boxes. Bird filled hers with fun heart-shaped candy, but chocolates or cookies would also be perfect. In addition to the milk cartons, each guest was given a mini-candy bar with a custom wrapper! To add to the fun, the printable collection also includes mini Valentine’s Day cards and envelopes to send little notes to all your Valentines!
