Nautical Party Style & Mud Pie Faves

Oh the warm weather, I’m so glad you’re back! Y’all, I’m just itching for spring and summer parties. The outdoors provide the perfect setting for mixing and mingling. You might remember when I shared a few of my favorite holiday hostess gifts from Mud Pie a few months ago, and now I get to share a few more faves. How cute is that chalkboard for year-round celebrations and inside as a weekly meal planner in the kitchen too? I love items that can be re-purposed for multiple uses (less clutter!). It served as the “anchor” for my little nautical party set-up to greet guests as they arrive! A festive blue and white table covering did the trick as a mini party-setup for sips and bites. You don’t have to go “overboard” with heavy hors-d’oeuvres. Simple chicken salad sandwiches on croissants, lime Arnold Palmers (half lime-ade, half sweet tea), fresh fruit, and chocolate petit fours will do the trick. Turn a typical weekend family dinner into a themed meal outside on the deck or patio.

I absolutely adore the crab pitcher and crab rope platter.  All the crab items from Mud Pie are too cute. They’re fabulous for beach houses or adding a nautical touch to your celebrations. The rope detail is my favorite. It would be fabulous displayed all summer to hold fruit on a table as a centerpiece or coffee table.

You know it’s not a party without a few sweet treats, especially when they’re displayed on the cutest sweet tray set! One must always save room for dessert ;)

Miss Blakely made an appearance in her flamingo swim suit because swimming is the perfect activity for a nautical-inspired soiree. She’s my little fishy and loves the water! This flamingo suit is SO cute.

I couldn’t share my love for Mud Pie without mentioning their darling birthday items like the gold glitter birthday banner! HOW CUTE? Miss Blakely has loved having this hanging in her room all week to celebrate her birthday (MONDAY!). I love that it can be reused from year to year too! How cute are the pink pom poms? Precious!
