Shark Dinner Party!
Turquoise + Shark Dinner Party
It’s SHARK WEEK! So, we thought it fitting to share this humorous outdoor dinner party! Bright turquoise and white striped fabric made the perfect tablecloth for this sea-themed dinner. Of course, the star of the dinner was the centerpiece shark filled with fresh cocktail shrimp and sauce. We surprisingly found this shark at a local pet supply store in the aquarium section! We filled a crystal centerpiece bowl with ice and topped with the shark and fresh cocktail shrimp. It made for a touch of humor and lots of laughs perfect for shark week!
So host a shark dinner party and turn on Discovery!
Want another tip for your ocean themed dinner? Use a cookie cutter to shape cornbread into fish shapes (seen above). Simple fish-shaped ice packs kept bowls cool for lemon freeze dessert!
COCKTAIL SAUCE RECIPE
1 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon horseradish
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and chill overnight. This sauce is extremely easy to make and everybody loves it! Yields 1 cup.
