Summer Entertaining Faves from Pier 1!

Pier 1 LOVES a good party so they asked me to pick out MY fave products from their line this summer. Tough job, huh? Naturally, I chose items suited for ENTERTAINING! I just moved into my new house so it definitely needed a little sprucing in my breakfast room off the kitchen! Here’s what I picked up to give it an “entertaining touch”! {plus, read on for more about THE IDEA ROOM + how to save money on your own Pier 1 shopping spree!}

 

Deep shades of tangerine and coral were everywhere, and I couldn’t have been happier. This is a color that can transition perfectly into the fall months so it’s a great investment for accent pieces like candles and napkins. For some pops of summer, I loved these sunflower napkin rings too!

My next entertaining piece that I picked up was the indoor/outdoor lantern I used as a simple centerpiece. I added a deep coral candle (that smells divine, by the way). It’s sitting pretty on my new breakfast table (all from Pier 1). Being able to walk in and find furniture pieces as well as pretty accents made this busy gal very happy! I even snagged this floral pillow that came with a set for outdoor patio use, but I’m actually going to use it inside on my sofa! I love it!

As a wine lover, I fell in all kinds of love with these orange poppy wine glasses (check them out here at Pier 1’s website). Obsessed really. And they came in other colors (red, yellow, etc.)! What fun for a girl’s dinner party, backyard bbq, etc? I may or may not have been drinking everything out of them recently… diet soda included! It makes everything a little more fun.

On to dessert, because truly, that’s our favorite part, right? I had to pick up some “dessert” items! Pier 1 has the BEST tasting dish line. I love mini desserts so I picked up the mini martini glasses. Here, I served up mini strawberry cheesecakes..the perfect little sweet touch to end a dinner party! AND, they’re sitting pretty on my new favorite cake stand – ruffled + white! It goes with everything and for every holiday. SCORE! The white dishes above are also from Pier 1 (I’ve had them for years) and use them for so many parties because I can embellish them with details to match my theme. White and glass are my go-to’s when investing in entertaining pieces.
