Sunflowers are fun flowers and butterflies are guaranteed to bring smiles to every face. Pull up a chair and enjoy this orange marmalade bread at your next breakfast party!

Orange Marmalade Bread

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 10-ounce jar orange marmalade
2 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in the marmalade. Next add the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and orange juice. Then stir in the nuts. Spoon the batter into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool 10 minutes.
Yields: 1 loaf
