Toy Story Birthday Party Ideas

We love it when a party gals put their own spin on a movie-themed party! When Melissa and Kellie from Icing Designs sent over this party inspired by the character Jessie from Toy Story, we were absolutely charmed! There’s no doubt Toy Story parties are a huge hit, and this girl-power version surely didn’t miss!

“We illustrated a little cowgirl with braids, freckles, cow-patterned chaps and red boots holding a cupcake with two candles and glittered her up! For the sweet table, we took cow-patterned fabric and overlayed a red burlap liner and hung a “sweet saloon” letter garland across the front!”– Melissa and Kelle

To create height and add more decor, the ladies put two poles behind the table to hold three bandana buntings. Adorable paper lanterns printed with a bandana pattern were hung above the table with burlap ribbon. Mini bales of hay served as stands for shortbread star cookies and chocolate brownie pops with glittered chocolate stars on the front! Melissa and Kellie filled a candy jar with caramel corn and used a cute galvanized three-tiered cupcake stand to hold chocolate chip cupcakes and s’mores pops.

No little one’s party is complete without a smash cake, and Emmalyn’s ruffled cake with an oversized cupcake topper was perfect for the theme! Glittered food labels and cupcake flags adorned with cowgirls and the number 2 completed the look.

Guests didn’t go home empty-handed either! Each was given a cowboy hat and bandana as they came into the party to get into character! Little chocolate boots with tags matching the invitation met guests at the door on the way out as well! Yahoo!
