Party Fave: The Bar Cart!

Bart Car Party Pictures

My obsession isn’t new really. I’ve always had a slight addiction to pretty little carts with ordered party + drink supplies on them. There is just something so fun about a cart that rolls the party wherever it wants to go. They’re so darn cute. My favorite place to gawk at the beauty of bar carts is Society Social. They just rolled out their new Mrs. Lilien Bart Cart {check out her cute video here}. Yes, they can be rather pricey but don’t worry, there are lots of ways to achieve the bar cart look on a budget.

I love bar cart #6 above because it takes an old chest and makes it a “bar cart” with a tray and drink supplies. Hostess serving trays are quite popular these days (learn how to make one here). Set it up with your favorite beverages of choice, some pretty party straws, a decanter or other serving piece, glasses, and … Ta-da! You’ll be hostess with the mostess when you can serve up drinks to a guest without zig-zagging the house and kitchen four hundred times.

I was shopping at Tuesday Morning a few months ago and found a wrought iron tray on legs. It’s hard to describe. It basically looks like a bar cart that doesn’t roll. That’s fine. It was also super cheap! I plan on spray painting that pretty a gorgeous color (I’m thinking gold) and turning it into the bar “cart” of my dreams. I’ll post pics, don’t you worry.

So, do you have a bar cart? Did you DIY a “bar cart” area in your house?

  1. I LOVE bar carts, it is on my running list (In my head) when I go to thrift stores & yard sales to find one to makeover or create!

    1. I’m totally with you Laurel! Love them! Thanks for the comment!

  2. I love number 4! You’re so right about party bar carts! I have one at home because hosting a party can be pretty much of walking around to get stuffs from your kitchen and back to your guest. And so I decided to get a cart so whereever the guests are the supplies are all in the cart no need for me to run back and forth. LOL! Anyways I want to have that number 4 it can hold lots of bar supplies in there.
