Silhouette Art by Vana Chupp
Silhouette Art
Vana Chupp of Le Papier Studio is an inspiration of mine. Professionally trained as an architect, she launched Le Papier Studio in 2008 after falling in love with the sweet art of silhouette after the birth of her son, Nikolas. Vana is also on our Paperie Guide where I have had the honor of getting to know her and her amazing designs.
Vana’s book, Silhouette Art, published by Chronicle Books, is OUT! I could not contain my excitement to receive my copy, and I have not stopped telling friends and family how amazing it is. Filled with gorgeous papers and templates for silhouettes, Vana tells you how to create your own amazing silhouettes for framing, creating keepsake jewelry, personalized wrapping paper, you name it – the possibilities are endless.
I’ve already been having WAY too much fun thinking of all the ways I am going to use the designs. I’m framing one of the silhouette armchairs in my office! This book is a fabulous gift for anyone crafty in your life (or anyone who loves art or design!). This will be a darling holiday gift this year! You can order the book here.

Wow I love this! I’ve always loved silhouettes too but I love all the design ideas that can be done with them. This is such a beautiful idea. I really love the ornaments–so cute!
