Silhouette Wedding

Loving the amazing details of today’s featured wedding!  Chad and Allison were married in Fulshear, Texas in October of last year at Allison’s parent’s house.  The ceremony took place outside, while the reception was held in a tent.  Allison definitely has an eye for detail and came up with some seriously great ideas to personalize their reception!

She covered plywood boards with a green damask fabric and then used them as backdrops in the tent and behind the dessert bar.  To tie the damask into other elements of the reception, she copied the pattern onto the wedding cake and also the stickers for the water bottles and the dessert boxes.  For decor, they lined long tables with moss, sticks and milk glass filled with white and green flowers, which is beautiful!

The best detail of the night (and a detail I’m sure their guests LOVED) was the hired silhouette artist who drew guests during the cocktail hour and the reception!  It made for a perfect favor for the guests to take home and a copy was also made for the Bride and Groom that each guest signed. The dance floor was built outside and lights were strung above it, which is super romantic.
