Tim Burton Inspired Halloween Party
I‘m excited to have Shauna Krantz stopping in today to share her “Tim Burton Inspired Halloween Party“! We are in love with her party details from the black and white to the amazing decorated cookies that match Tim Burton’s style to a “T”!
You can check out more Halloween Party Themes as well, but if you love Tim Burton, you’re in the right place!
Shauna shared, “I absolutely love all things Tim Burton. For some it may be creepy but I am totally intrigued by his unique style and amazing designs. Inspired by the movie Coraline and Nightmare Before Christmas, I styled a photo shoot to capture what I found to be the perfect Halloween party.”

“My daughter Ella was excited to model the stunning tutu dress created by Kristal of Atutudes . Every detail of the dress is beautiful from the satin ribbon to the glitter buttons. To top it off she wore a handmade hat designed by Stacie of Fancy & Fold.
The table was draped with a ruffled black runner custom made by Ella and Annie. Some insight on the backdrop – it’s vinyl, peel & stick! I ordered this custom backdrop from Kelly of Print & Cut Your Printables. Donna of Swish Printables designed the do-it-yourself banner and menu, easy digital files anyone can purchase and print from home. The handmade coffin favor boxes by Lindsay of Party Hearty Designs were filled with yummy chocolate covered pretzels, hand dipped by Sweet U Off Your Feet, a sweet gift for all your guests. The cotton candy was another great favor packaged with a personalized label for your event by Soiree Event Design.
The fun paper plates, baking cups and matching paper cups can be purchased from Hoopla Events. I used black “bling” sticks from Painting Paris Pink for the cake bunting. I tied strips of black fabric on thread to create the illusion of bats! The cake is super simple to make using basic 8” round cake pans and 1M tip for frosting. I Am Baker has a great tutorial for making a rosette cake and with a little bit of practice even a beginner can do it!
The sweets are always my favorite part of any party. The Jack Skellington, King of Halloween Town, cake pops and Rice Krispies treats were baked to perfection by Autumn Lynn Chocolate Sins. Autumn offers a variety of custom designs. The chocolate covered Oreo cookies from Sweets & Treat Design Studio have editable paper and ink and are a new way of creating custom designs for your cookies. There is something to be said about cookies and art. Creating Awesomenessity designed gorgeous sugar cookies with delicate details almost too pretty to eat. I just love the photo of Ella holding up the blue-eyed beauty cookie.
Of course the set-up wouldn’t be complete without a button-eyed stitched doll. Erin McClure handmade the doll adding bright and bold colors to bring the table to life.
The entire Halloween inspiration was captured by the talented Katie Moffitt Photography.”
