Colorful Wedding with Sweet DIY Details!

Colorful DIY Wedding Details! LOVE the Paper Flowers!

I don’t share weddings too often on Pizzazzerie but when a wedding is full of tons of party details, it’s a must! Especially this “Anthro-esque” fete full of pops of color and DIY details! Like the paper flower alter? OH my goodness! What a cute backdrop display this would make for all sorts of events (from baby showers to sweet 16 parties). The bride’s bouquet matches perfectly and the centerpieces are a gorgeous blend of natural charm and sweetness. Congrats to the newlyweds: Kathryn Obermeyer & Davey Grazian of Aptos, CA!

The crepe paper flowers for the alter were all made by the bride’s mother! What a sweet gift to her daughter. Now, to figure out how to make them!

Crepe Paper Flower Alter for Colorful DIY Wedding! The mint bridesmaids dresses from Anthropologie tie in with the whimsical details of the paper flowers. The bride & groom make such a stunning couple, don’t you think?

Sweet DIY Wedding The mix of crepe paper flowers with real ones is one of my favorite details! The card and gift table is just stunning too. The blends of peaches, mint, and purple is so gorgeous. Another fave? The Scrabble table numbers! Take a look below. The photos are also incredible, huge thanks to Bellalu Photography for allowing us to share this wedding.

Colorful wedding with lots of DIY details!I don’t know about you, but now I want to spend my entire Monday making crepe paper flowers to cover my entire office and use for every party! I love how this bride broke away from the mold to do something fun + youthful. Her use of color shows how an event as “formal” as a wedding can instantly become fun and whimsical!

  1. This was a Wonderful Day Full of Love and Fun. One of the Secrets to the Flowers is they were made from colorful Napkins! Found them at Party City. They are a little stiffer than tissue and still easy to work with. It was a lot of fun and got easier the more I made. Love to All.
