Wedding Showcase – A Black & Pink Affair

This bright, sweet, and fun wedding affair was the wedding of Kim and Dustin, a loving couple who got married on May 22nd, 2010 in Nashville, TN!  Their wedding was held at Belle Meade Plantation, which is a 30 acre site that is located about six miles outside of Nashville.  With tons of history, who wouldn’t love this venue!   Kim & Dustin have known each other since the very beginning of High School and their love is evident in each of the photos as well as their wedding video below.  And the best thing, they were each other’s first kiss!  Now that is true love that is meant to be!

Their wedding was as super fun pink and black theme that is showcased throughout the day by each of their fabulous vendors, as well as the little touches that Kim added to the day.  (see that pink shirt on top left, yep Kim MADE it!)  The cake was multiple layers with different elements on each, and cheesecake balls with pink drizzle were a yummy part of the candy table.  But one of my favorite ideas of the day is incorporating a signature cocktail named after your favorite pup!  The Gracie Martini was a bubblegum pink colored martini that looks super tasty!  My other favorite design detail was what Brocade Designs did for the cocktail tables by wrapping cute scrapbook paper around square vases to add some pattern and height to the cocktail tables.
