Seascape Table

As summer comes to an end, it is the perfect time to grill out by the pool with your friends.   Make it unforgettable by styling a fun seascape table setting!  Think blue and green!  This table setting will put a smile on any neighbor’s face, as they say down south, “come on over and sit a spell”.  Courtney and I had a blast styling this table while visiting our best friends in Richmond, Virginia. This is one of our favorite tables yet!

Enjoy these refreshing dips while grilling. They are perfect for fresh vegetables or pita chips!

Vegetable Dip

1 cup mayonnaise (Hellman’s)
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
1 tablespoon dill weed
1 teaspoon salt
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.  This dip is also delicious as a dressing for a tossed salad.  It can be served in a hollowed-out cabbage placed on a platter, surrounded by mounds of assorted raw vegetables.

Cucumber Dip

1 large cream cheese, room temperature
1 large cucumber, seeds removed, chopped
1 medium onion, minced
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
salt and pepper to taste
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and chill.  Serve with chips or crackers. Enjoy!

  1. What a lovely send off to Summer! All those colors just say Summertime and those are the colors I have in our own little lake house! So nicely done, ladies I want to sit down to this table!
