Award season is upon us! If you’re going to enjoy treats during the Golden Globes, they must be delicious, glitzy, and a whole lotta glam! Am I right? So you might be tucked in your pajamas watching the Globes, but you might as well snack in style! So pass on the boring go-to’s and whip up a display of bite sized treats worthy of the red carpet!
1. Star Studded Dippers
Star studded food made perfectly crisp and delicious by Megan of Not Martha. Bypass the bag of typical tortilla chips and make your own fancied up chips and dips! Plus, Megan has a recipe for star-shaped cheese crackers that I’m just dying over!
2. Black Tie Optional, Popcorn a Must
If there’s one food every viewing party must have, it’s popcorn! You don’t have to just pop and eat though. Get a little snazzy and make these delicious and adorable naturally-sweetened honey popcorn balls from my friend Ali of Gimme Some Oven. Anything on a treat stick is instantly cuter, including these popcorn balls.
3. Crostini & Toppings
Crostini paired with prosciutto and blackberries is an easy appetizer that’s always a hit! Change it up with various fruits, spreadable cheeses, jams, and of course, you can’t leave out star toppers. Make your own with scrapbook paper, star punch, and toothpicks. BH&G has more viewing party tips here!
4. S’more Cream Puffs
Put a little touch of edible gold flake on anything, and it instantly becomes super fancy! Like these s’more cream puffs? a) They’re SUPER simple, trust me! b) A little dab of gold flake and your friends will be WOW’d! Grab the recipe with details on buying the gold flake here!
