Country Sunflower Brunch

Host a neighborhood brunch! Gather your friends and neighbors and throw a country brunch with delicious Biscotti served in colorful polka dot favor boxes available in our paper store! Decorate with vibrant sunflowers and teal + blue touches including plates and glasses! This party was first designed for an Urban Ministries event at the home of Wayne Freeman and Cronin Byrd in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was also designed by my Mom, Phronsie Dial!

We served fresh lemonade and know you will love this recipe! Add in mint for an extra touch of refreshing flavor!

Lemonade

1          cup water
3          cups sugar
3 ¼      cups fresh lemon juice
3          tablespoons lemon zest

Heat the water to boiling and then add the sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest.  Stir until the sugar is dissolved and then cool.  Store the lemonade syrup covered in the refrigerator until needed.  Make a glass of fresh lemonade by combining 1/3 cup of syrup with 3/4 cup of water and stir well.  Add ice and a slice of lemon and enjoy refreshing lemonade every time.
