Celebrating 5: Tickled Pink Cocktail

Tickled Pink Cocktail Recipe, Pizzazzerie.com

Once a year, I take a post to celebrate something I’m very proud of – Pizzazzerie’s birthday! Yep, this little site here turned 5 this week! WOW! I truly cannot even believe that a little thought I had while driving home from my corporate job (that I desperately wanted out of) one day has turned into my full-time job and allowed me opportunities I never thought I would have. I’m so proud of the fact that I get to be creative every single day. I get to design tablescapes and party foods around everything including colors, holidays, new food and drink flavors, and even fragrances (coming later this week)! And you know what? In the spirit of full disclosure, I’ve tripled that former salary. Why? Because of readers like you! Truly, thank you for following my story and my parties. YOU are the reason Pizzazzerie is 5! So to celebrate you, I want to have big ol’ CHEERS with my new favorite cocktail, the “Tickled Pink”!

Last year, I celebrated with cake because I was very pregnant but this year….cocktail time! Not just any cocktail, my new favorite cocktail (and not just because it’s pink). It’s the perfect blend of tart lemon and lime with sweet cranberry and raspberry juice. It’s a cocktail that would be perfect for celebrations as a “signature cocktail” or a quick refreshing beverage by the pool this summer. It’s delish! You can create a larger batch in a pitcher and keep it in the refrigerator for a larger party. Or serve in a drink dispenser garnished with sliced lemons, limes, and raspberries! And of course…cute gold fringe drink stirrers are a must.
