Nothing sweet in the peanut butter and cream cheese layer?
I made this recipe not realizing that a key ingredient was missing on the list, confectioners sugar was needed in the filling. I followed instructions exactly and the filling was milky and very salty. The chocolate topping was decadent! If you try this recipe just make sugar to add confectioners sugar.
I didnt find it milky or salty. I followed the recipe and it came perfect. The confectioners sugar probably made it more like an icing, no? I ask because the recipe is similar to a peanut butter icing I make just add the sugar.
how much sugar would you add to this recipe?
Really good! I also didn’t find that confectioners sugar was needed for the filling. I only had unsweetened peanut butter so I did end up adding about 2 tbs of honey to the filling. Didn’t have the sweetnened condensed milk so I just made a regular ganache with milk. Super easy and tasty!
This was amazing. Everyone loved it. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will definitely make it again.
