Colorful and whimsical Easter table decor with lots of tips and inspiration for recreating the look for your Easter table!
Easter is one of my favorite holidays to share table decorations with y’all! We have tons of ideas in the archives, and I’ve linked a few of my favorites below, but today’s Easter post is all about color and whimsy! I can’t believe April has arrived, but I’m excited to begin sharing lots of Easter inspiration.
Easter Table Decor
I wanted to share some Easter table decorations that are perfect for the whole family, little ones included! If you’re hosting Easter brunch this year and have lots of kids included, this sweet table will provide you lots of inspiration. I wanted to tap into my whimsical side for the kids while still creating an elegant tablescape for the adults as well.
You’ll notice my table has neither a tablecloth nor a table runner. It’s not a requirement so if you’re wanting to keep it simple this year, don’t fret about the linens. I did, however, include some precious cloth napkins I found at HomeGoods. They just screamed “Easter” when I saw them, and I love the color-blocked pattern. Find a way to add a pop of color to your table through either festive napkins or whimsical, patterned plates.
I picked up these gingham plates last year at Hobby Lobby in both pink and green. I alternated the place settings this year in both colors. Don’t be afraid to mix and match your plates to create the look you want. Pink and green is one of my favorite color combinations. I only have these plates in salad size so I used my favorite simple white dinner plates (they have a gold rim).
You might have brightly colored dinner plates and simple, white salad plates. No problem! Mix and match and let one or two elements “shine” and add in that pop of color or pattern. For me, it’s definitely the salad plates and napkins. And to keep it fun for Easter, I used white and gold bunny ear napkin rings that I picked up at a craft store a couple of years ago. There are tons of cute bunny napkin rings available, and these might be my faves!
For a touch of fun (for both kids and adults), add a sweet treat to each place setting. It can be as simple as a chocolate bunny (I did this on my Rustic Chic Easter Tablescape) or mini bags of pastel jellybeans like I did for this Easter! Keep those little ones happy so the adults can enjoy a meal, right?!
As for my centerpiece, I just have three vases down the center of my table filled with a blend of white and peachy pink flowers. I also added fresh greenery from my yard to tuck into the arrangements as well as on the table itself. This makes all the difference for adding a touch of charm to your table! I also added a few candles in pink glass candlestick holders, but you could use simple white or clear glass holders as well.
The gold bamboo flatware is one of my FAVORITE Amazon finds as I’m quite the bamboo lover. I always find myself pulling it out to use year-round. The pink tumblers are made by Mosser Glass (one of my favorite cake-stand companies) and you can find them here. They’re gorgeous and high-quality! The white tumblers were given to me by my Mom who found them at an antique store.
I hope you’re inspired to create your own colorful Easter tablescape! I hope I’ve shown you how easy and simple it can be to use items you already own along with a few colorful Easter finds to set your Easter table. For more Easter table decor ideas, check out my other Easter inspiration below…
