Now that Easter is only a few weeks away, it’s time to start thinking about your Easter tablescape! Setting a gorgeous table for Easter is one of my favorite things to do. After winter, I’m ready for all the vibrant spring colors, flowers, and warmer weather. So let’s get started with your Easter tablescape, okay? I’m sharing all my tips so read along…
I always like to work around one “focal” point when working on a table. My Mom and I found these gorgeous pink and white striped plates at Homegoods so they were the focus of our tablescape. They have a light gold rim so they paired perfectly with simple placemats and gold flatware! If you have always loved gold flatware but don’t have a set of your own, here’s a link to my set. I highly recommend it!
My next tip is adding in simple white bunnies. They’ll look perfectly fitting no matter what color your dishes are (or your flatware). I actually lucked out and found some gorgeous candy dish bunnies with gold ears from the dollar section at Target (they were $3 each). They also make cute little planters for flowers. So I gathered up lots of bunnies to scatter down my tablescape. For extra greenery, moss bunnies added the perfect touch. It doesn’t matter what type of bunny you have, just add them down your table! It is Easter after all.
In the center of each place setting, we added in a mini white basket with grass and flowers. All of these elements were found from the craft store. You could do a real mini plant, a succulent, a little dish of candies, a mini bunny, or simple place the napkin in the center of the plate. I have found that a tablescape looks more polished when something is placed in the center of the plate.
If you have a lot of bunnies that coordinate well together, then flowers don’t have to be a focal point on your table. I do, however, like to incorporate them somehow because springtime just calls for flowers, right? So a few mini bouquets of pink and white flowers did the trick. It just helps add a touch of freshness to the table.
I always like to pull out my prettiest crystal glassware for the occasion. There are only so many times throughout the year that you have the opportunity to “fancy” up your tablescape, and Easter is definitely one of them! The crystal glassware tied in to simple crystal napkin rings around gold and white striped Kate Spade napkins. I adore these napkins because they’re versatile enough for everyday use as well as special occasions.
If you break down the elements of this Easter tablescape, it’s all very simple! Even if you don’t have bunnies, simple white vases of pretty pink and white flowers gives the same overall look and feel to the table. You could easily find inspiration in this design for everything from baby showers to bridal showers. And if you’re just starting out, simple white dishes are just fine too.
We also have one of my favorite recipes that’s absolutely perfect for Easter brunch, you can see it above and find the recipe in our new post tomorrow right here on the blog! We have lots more Easter inspiration coming your way this week and next week so get excited!
I hope you’re inspired to set your Easter table in style!
This looks like a little garden right on your table! I like it. Thanks for the ideas, I finally get to use my dining room table this year so I want to go all out.
Oh, hooray Beth! That’s great! Thanks for the sweet note :)
