Create a DIY Poolside Party To Go
Alright all my hostesses, this is a fun one! I’ve been wanting to share some fun “party on the go” ideas for a long time, so I’m excited about today’s post. This is the perfect poolside party on the go (or lakeside, beachside…you get the gist). Let’s jump in…. (pun intended).
First things first! You’ll need a tray or other carrier for all your party essentials. I love to use a large acrylic tray because (a) no worries on breaking it and (b) it’s easy to lay out all the goodies for friends! You can also use a large bucket, cooler, picnic basket, or other carrier. Get creative!
Next up, the food and drinks! These are the center of any party, am I right? I like to serve up Barefoot Refresh Spritzers (in Summer Red and Crisp White) because they’re light and refreshing for summer, they come in cute individual cans, and no worries on glass breaking when by the pool. I love these! For food, pick items that won’t melt out in the sun. I opted for white cheddar popcorn, mini almond cookies, and other assorted snacks. Read below for tips on packaging up all the food!
Decorations! It’s not a party without some party decorations so I kept things lighthearted and festive with mini flamingo and swan drink floats (these make the perfect favors). Mini tissue paper decorations and party horns set the party mood! And little boxes filled with confetti are a cute addition (plus, using confetti outside is the best way to go). You can find mini containers at craft stores that are perfect for confetti, but you can also use mini cellophane bags. Lots of options!
Now, to arrange it all is key! First off, I lined my tray with a black and white striped wrapping paper to give it a party vibe. You can find wrapping paper in a million different patterns, but you can also use scrapbook paper! Next, I used items like little favor bags and cupcake liners to hold the food treats so they’re readily available to “grab and go”. Party straws and umbrellas kick it up a notch, sip sip hooray!
Here’s a recap if you’re headed out and need a quick list!

Courtney,
I love this pink and black themed party on the go. I have never tried the barefoot spritzers, but I think they would make great additions to a summer party.
XO,
Jenn
Thank you so much, Jenn!
