Halloween Tablescape Ideas & More!
Happy (almost) Halloween! What are your plans for Halloween? Are you trick-or-treating with the kids? Hosting friends for dinner? Staying in and watching scary movies? Whatever you’re up to for Halloween, I hope I can share a little bit of decor inspiration with you.
I love any excuse to set a fabulous party table, even if you’re just staying in with your family. My mom always jazzed up our dinners over the holidays – just for our family of 4! They’re some of my favorite memories!
Let’s chat Halloween tablescapes! You can go all out or pull just one or two ideas for inspiration, whatever you have time for! I started my table with a roll-out paper runner by Hester & Cook (a Nashville company that I adore). They make for easy clean-up. They also make the cute skeleton that I styled on this place setting. You can hang them up or use them on the table like I did!
Even though Halloween is typically orange and black, I went with more of an enchanting glam color scheme and added in blush pink and dark red florals. You can certainly stay traditional or even stick to black and white with a similar effect. The spider webs you see in every Halloween store are the perfect addition to every Halloween tablescape! Just stretch them out between the flowers and other decor. I added three black spooky trees that I grabbed at Target too!
Don’t be afraid to mix and match your glassware and dishes. Even though it’s a fun/casual holiday, you can still break out your nicer glassware for the occasion! I love any excuse to pull out my favorite pieces. Add Halloween charm to your place settings by tucking in mini witches brooms to the napkins. I found these at Hobby Lobby, but you’ll often see similar mini decor items at Michaels, Target, etc.
Another favorite tablescape tip of mine is to order your family’s names in festive, calligraphy place cards. You can reuse them for different occasions! I have a few different styles from simple white and black to this chic black and copper style! I usually order mine on Etsy. These came from Wasabi Calligraphy!
These gray and white striped napkins add a whimsical touch but simple black or white would also be just fine! For flatware, I love the black and gold from this set here! It’s such a fun change from typical flatware and totally worth the investment if you love to entertain and style tablescapes!
As you can see, it just takes a few festive touches for a spooky Halloween tablescape for the holiday! If you’ve scrolled quickly, my top tips are adding decorative spider webs along your florals and centerpiece and tucking in Halloween decor to the place settings (think witches brooms, spiders, mini skeletons). I hope you’re inspired to bring some FUN to your table this Halloween!

hi! Where did you purchase your black wine glasses? Thanks!
They were from grandinroad years ago though.
I’ve seen tons of Halloween tablescapes, but this one happens to be one of my favourites. I love everything, from the flowers to the striped linen to the skeleton sitting in the chair joining you for dinner! Awesome job on this!
