MINI CHEESEBURGERS

My absolute favorite food to make tiny is cheeseburgers. Everyone loves them and they are super easy to make. The trick is all in the buns. You can easily form hamburger meat into small rounds as well as use cherry tomatoes along with tiny pieces of cheese and lettuce. The buns, however, is where the secret is found. I use Rhodes Dinner Rolls because they still need to rise before baking. I break them into tiny balls and top with sesame seeds to form tiny hamburger buns. It’s that easy! How to Make Mini Tacos, Party Ready snacks!

MINI TACOS

Equally delicious as the cheeseburgers are my mini tacos! These are definitely a crowd favorite for my parties. The trick to making miniature versions of your favorite tacos is to make tiny taco shells. You create these tiny taco shells by using a round cookie cutter to cut out small round tortillas from larger tortillas. Then fold the small tortillas in half and place between the cavities of an upside-down muffin tin. This ensures they bake while being folded over so they will hold their shape once they cool down. Bake until the tacos are crispy. CLICK HERE FOR MINI TACOS RECIPE

MINI BANANA PUDDING

I love making mini versions of my favorite desserts too! Banana pudding is a southern favorite so I knew I wanted to make a tiny version that is perfect for serving at parties. The trick for these is using mini vanilla wafers as well finding miniature tasting bowls for serving!

MINI SHRIMP ‘N GRITS

You can make mini versions of all types of dishes. For instance, I created these mini versions of shrimp ‘n grits! The key is finding mini tasting dishes. Then, serve small portions and top with small garnishes of herbs like chives. I love herb scissors to make tiny garnish sizes of my favorite herbs! CLICK HERE FOR MINI SHRIMP ‘N GRITS RECIPE

MINI SHRIMP PO BOYS

One of my favorite sandwiches to eat are shrimp po boys. I’ll admit, they can be a bit of a mess when trying to eat so I made a party-ready version that’s perfect in size. Everything is just easier to eat when it’s miniature! CLICK HERE FOR MINI SHRIMP PO BOYS RECIPE

I hope you’re inspired to make “mini foods” for your next get-together (or even a weeknight meal for your family). I love to serve mini foods to my daughter because they’re so much easier to eat.
