Whoever said Thanksgiving tablescapes have to be drab has obviously never seen a Pizzazzerie Thanksgiving! We’re all about the kids table today where I’m showcasing this bright aqua Thanksgiving kids table for the little ones. I love the touches of pink, fun ribbons on the pumpkins, and cute turkey plates! This tablescape truly took minutes to create, let me show you how!
First up are the adorable plates and napkins found at Target this year! If you can’t find cute Thanksgiving plates, any simple colored plate will do. Then look for cute Thanksgiving stickers from the craft store, stick them right on the plate! Next is the simple centerpiece. A scattering of mini pumpkins and acorns takes seconds to create. I spray painted a couple of my mini pumpkins white but you could also use aqua, yellow, or pink too! We tied on some ribbon for extra flair and ta-da! I also think it would be fun to give the kids craft supplies to decorate their pumpkin (think stickers, ribbon, feathers, markers, etc). Anything to keep them busy, right? ;)
For your table covering, select a brightly colored hue like aqua! I just used burlap and a fun posterboard on top! The posterboard keeps clean-up easy, just toss it after the Thanksgiving meal! You can find them in a variety of patterns at the craft store. Easy clean-up tips are key when we’re talking about little ones, right? :)
Inexpensive plastic cutlery allows you to pick a fun color that will coordinate with your table! Plus, it’s safer for little hands. Add in some cute striped straws (you can find these at Party City, Target, Michaels, etc) and you’ve got yourself one adorable Thanksgiving kids table! These tips are super easy but I hope you see how you can take a few minutes to create a memorable and festive table setting for the holiday. Snap some pictures if you use these tips and share them with me, I’d love to see your table in action!
Stay tuned tomorrow for a super awesome turkey day surprise <wink, wink>,
