Comic Themed Children’s New Year’s Eve Party
Children’s New Year’s Eve Party
Black, White, Comics, & Bling
This past fall, I participated in a fun “East Coast Challenge” with other party designers to collaborate on a Children’s New Year’s themed party. It was East Coast vs. West Coast! We’ll showcase soon but today we’re showing you East Coast with black, white, comics, and bling! My role was to add some jewels and “bling” the menus and place cards. My friend, Kristy, of The Purple Pug was the stylist who pulled it ALL together and what a great job she did!
One of my favorite parts of this blinged out New Years Eve Party are the treats! You might have seen my birthday cocktail where I rimmed a martini glass in nonpareils, Kristy used the same idea with these milk shots!
Jen of Blush Printables designed the place cards and menu which featured “comic” themed treats.
Cake bunting is a fun and festive way to top a simple, elegant cake! Read this post on Every Last Detail about the new trend of cake bunting!
Let the kids enjoy “champagne” (aka sparkling grape juice) in a fancy glass rimmed with rock candy! Or try pop rocks for a tongue-tantalizing twist!
My sweet friend Kori of Paper & Pigtails (who also designed Pizzazzerie’s site background design and holiday card!) made these black and white striped favor boxes for popcorn treats! I love these boxes because they are the perfect size for little hands. I showcased them on Nashville’s NBC affiliate, WSMV last summer. Visit Paper & Pigtails on Etsy!
Having a fun activity for any children’s party is a must! These favor bags filled with colored pencils, markers, and darling coloring pages is perfect! Keeps the kids occupied while the adults enjoy champagne and friends.
