{Freebie} DIY Witch’s Brew Bottles for Halloween
Hey, Pizzazzerie readers! It’s Cara from One Swell Studio here to share a quick  & fun idea to dress up your drinks for those upcoming Halloween parties. You won’t believe how simple these Witch’s Brew bottles are to make. They’re so easy, it’s almost scaaaary! ;)
I adore Jarritos sodas–all glass bottle sodas, actually. Jarritos come in a range of colors & can be found in the Hispanic foods section of your local grocery story. This lime flavored one was exactly what I had in mind for creating a fun little drink to serve at an upcoming Halloween party.
I picked up a few small items at Michaels– some festive polka dot ribbon, washi tape, a few glittery spiders & a felt witch hat garland. I was planning on creating my own witch hats, but as soon as I saw this garland (http://bit.ly/1pFC6mT), I knew it would be coming home with me! You could absolutely make your own little witch hats from felt or paper for this project. But the garland I found was pre-made (just needing a few snips to detach the hats) & made this simple DIY even easier.
I created this sweet little bottle wrapper to dress up the bottle & cover the existing label. You can download the free printable PDF for the bottle wrapper here. There are three wrappers per page, so you’ll just need to cut them out with scissors or a paper trimmer.
Once each wrapper is cut out, line them up evenly around the bottle & attach them with washi tape– or any other tape you might already have. Hot glue works too!
If you’d like to add a bow, cut a small length of ribbon & tie it around the neck of the bottle. You can use any color you’d like. This orange & black polka dot grosgrain added a fun little touch.
Next, place the witch hat on the lid of the bottle to top off this look. Easy, fun AND adorable. It doesn’t get much better than that, right?!
If you want to, you can scatter the glittery spiders around the bottles for a not-so-spooky effect. I don’t exactly love real spiders, but these sparkly ones were too cute!
You can easily & quickly make a bevy of beverages, an entire coven of cuteness with these little bewitching drinks. Kids will go crazy over these. They’re sure to be a hit at any Halloween bash– and would also make fantastic hostess or teacher gifts.
