{Holiday} Celebrate the Season With A Hot Toddy Bar

My sweet friend and owner of the custom party boutique Fancy That and the talented Inkberry combined forces to create a classic HOT TODDY BAR to celebrate the season for a girl’s night out. She took her love of tartan plaid and combined it with her other love, the movie Holiday Inn. This nostalgic table conjures up visions of warm cozy evenings in a snow covered cabin. There is no better way to spread the holiday spirit than with a classic holiday themed party.

Use a main or side table to display all your drink mix-ins for hot toddies, cider, coffee, and hot cocoa! Below is a traditional Hot Toddy recipe but you could also add in Kahlua, Baileys, coconut, chocolate stir spoons, rum, liquors, etc! Have fun with it and your guests will too.

HOT TODDY RECIPE

1 teaspoon honey
2 fluid ounces boiling water
1 1/2 fluid ounces whiskey
3 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 slice lemon
1 pinch ground nutmeg

Pour the honey, boiling water, and whiskey into a mug. Spice it with the cloves and cinnamon, and put in the slice of lemon. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes so the flavors can mingle, then sprinkle with a pinch of nutmeg before serving.

Be sure to also serve a variety of seasonal eats like Christmas cookies or other holiday bite size treats! Happy Hosting!
