Memorial Day Bottle ApronsMemorial Day Candy Jar

Memorial Day Cookout

We’re gearing up for lots of fun patriotic party ideas.  Kicking off the season for red, white, and blue is Memorial Day!  For this table, we filled a Radio Flyer wheelbarrow with chocolate chip cookies to use as a centerpiece.

You can find the how-to for these fun bottle aprons from our previous post here. They are a fun way to jazz up your drinks.  Then grab your favorite red candies (we love twizzlers!) and put them in a glass vase or apothecary jar (we found this one at Michaels).  This is a fun treat for the kids (or adults!).

Also check out our newly launched Hostess Gift Guide – they have some great patriotic platters, plates, chip ‘n dips, etc. that are perfect for the upcoming season!

  1. Love the little aprons and watermelon candles!

    hugs! Kim @ Frost Me!

  2. I love the watermelon candles… too cute. What a great way to incorporate the bottle aprons. And the Radio Flyer wheelbarrow tops off the table perfectly.

  3. We are having a bbq! I know watermelon is a must, but I haven’t planned the rest of the menu. I better get on it. Great party tips!

  4. Needed to write you one very little word in order to thank you very much yet again just for the amazing concepts you have contributed in this article. It’s certainly open-handed of people like you to make publicly precisely what a number of people would’ve marketed as an electronic book to earn some cash for their own end, precisely since you might well have done it if you ever wanted. These basics as well served to be the fantastic way to be certain that other individuals have a similar passion really like my very own to grasp a good deal more with regards to this issue. I am certain there are thousands of more fun moments ahead for folks who look into your site.
