Mint To Be Valentine’s Day Party

"Mint To Be" Valentine's Day Party Ideas + Inspiration

I am smitten with this gorgeous mint and gold party! Ya’ll are in for a treat today!

Goodbye red and pink, hello mint and gold!  This “Mint To Be” Valentine’s themed shoot styled by Candace of Lillypaul Designs provides a beautiful twist on the traditional Valentine’s color scheme.  It can also be used year-round for a unique wedding shower theme.  Vintage lace and filigree patterns mixed with modern chevron and herringbone touches struck the perfect balance between old and new.

Mint To Be Valentine’s Party

Candace shared lots of party details with us!

“The main sweets table was really highlighted by the gorgeous desserts and I wanted to keep the rest of the décor clean and simple.  I created a simple backdrop out of a foam heart cut out, quilting batting, and fabric.  The table was then layered in antique gold fabric and vintage lace while a simple “Mint To Be” banner hung across the front.  To add some drama to the table, I used a variety of unique items to display the sweets.   Gold candle sticks displayed the mini cakes while painted wood heart slabs were a quick and easy way to bring in some of the mint color.

The desserts that filled the sweets table were stunning.  From sparkly gold heart cake pops to ruffled heart cupcake toppers, each dessert was it’s own work of art.  And those cakes, oh I loved those three mini cakes!  Each one decorated differently while still all coordinating, they were stunning.  Bite sized “Mint To Be” sugar cookies acted like confetti while the stacked cookie towers were almost too pretty to eat!    Delicate mint and gold shimmered macaroons were stacked on top of one another and tied with gold bakers twine. ”

Valentine’s Day is also all about popping some bubbly, so I created a small “Mint To Be Bubbly” bar complete with DIY gold dipped champagne flutes and coordinating matching straws.  Below is one more look at this stunning Mint To Be Valentine’s Day Party! You’ll also find a list of credits and resources at the bottom of the post! Cheers!
