Spray Paint Your Way to a Stylish Valentine’s Day!
Spray Paint = BFF
I constantly remind my Mom about the time I taught her about my obsession with spray paint. It changed her life! Now, if we see a unique item or find something at a thrift store that’s just the wrong color, we don’t let it stop us at all! Spray paint is my BFF. Truly. There are so many colors available now – and gold + silver too! With Valentine’s Day approaching quickly, I wanted to show a little V-Day specific craft projects that you can recreate with a little help from spray paint! So check around your house or maybe hit up the nearest thrift or dollar store for some easy items that you can jazz up in fun pinks and reds (gold too)!
DIY Spray Painted Pots
One of my new year’s resolutions is to make some fabulous DIY pots for succulents. Why succulents? They’re hard to kill for those of us with black thumbs (ahem, me). How gorgeous are these pink and gold spray painted pots by Miss Renaissance? Get her full DIY tutorial here! I’m totally in love with these and think I’ll be making a dozen or so for neighbors and friends.
Seeing Red
How amazing are these candlestick holders? It’s truly magical what a coat of spray paint can do. How gorgeous would these be for Valentine’s Day centerpieces? I also think gold and pink would be fabulous color choices. Thankfully, you can find a variety of shades of pink, gold, and red at home or craft stores! Spray paint aisle, please! {Source}
DIY Silver Mason Jars
Mason jars have never looked so chic! It’s unreal how the silver spray paint makes plain old mason jars look fabulously chic! Pop in some pink carnations, peonies, or roses for the ultimate “rustic chic” look for Valentine’s Day! I adore these! Get the tutorial over on It All Started With Paint!
Wrap It Up
I’ll admit. Seeing this amazing DIY was one of those times when I thought.. why didn’t I think of that?! I didn’t even think that it was possible to spray paint on paper but why not? These gorgeous papers would be fabulous for not only wrapping paper but table runners, placemats, wall art, you name it! I’m already thinking up some fabulous ideas with this spray painting idea! Get the full tutorial over on Oh So Beautiful Paper!
Step in Style
Ok friends. How cool are these  metallic toe heart flats? Spray paint! I’m serious! How amazing? You can instantly transform plain, inexpensive flats and bam – so chic and cute! I’m obsessed. Get this fab tutorial over on Swellmayde.
Brighten Your Place Setting
Give your flatware some pops of color (how awesome is the yellow on that red) with – you got it – SPRAY PAINT! I adore this idea because you can transform cheap cutlery with a few quick sprays. I’m dying to make a rose gold and a bright aqua flatware set. Oooh, so many colors! See more from this darling Valentine’s Party here on Ruffled Blog!
DIY Heart Vase
Similar to the mason jar idea above, this vase is a bright, clean white adorned with ombre heart ribbon. The possibilities are endless with ribbons! These would be gorgeous grouped together at a party table or placed  individually at each place setting. The pink and white is my favorite Valentine’s Day combination! Get the tutorial here on A Thoughtful Place!
Gold Striped Vase
How gorgeous is this gold striped vase? All you need is gold spray paint and a glass vase, friends! Think of the possibilities for these beauties! Gorgeous centerpieces, vases, gifts, etc. I love the diagonal stripes too! This would be so pretty with a big bunch of pink peonies or roses! Sweet Candy Holders!
I am always tempted by the Valentine’s Day candy! My excuse is buying it for friends/teachers so I can snag a bite, my secret is out! Anyway, I always need to find a cute way to gift the candy and now I’ve found it! A heart sticker + spray paint = the cutest candy container ever! I love these sweet ideas from The 36th Avenue!
