If you missed this post on my signature cocktail, I’m doing a series of posts about my wedding details! Next up is one of my favorite elements – the scotch bar for my husband, Chris! I knew I wanted to do something special at the reception for Chris. I wasn’t going to have a full “dessert” bar (I had 3 wedding cakes and push-up pops for late-night). I still wanted to have a table to style with some sweet goodies so the Scotch Bar was born. My husband’s favorite drink is scotch and our favorite thing is our dog – Henry. We knew we wouldn’t be having Henry AT the wedding (he is way too wild for that) so I knew I wanted him “represented” somehow. Last but not least, my husband is a golf professional so lots of golf goodies were added.

Scotch Bar Wedding DetailsWhat I really love about this idea is that you could set up any sort of cocktail bar for more than just a wedding! Hosting your hubby’s birthday? Set up his favorite cocktail – bar style. Display 3 or more of the main liquor, mixers as necessary, and a variety of his favorite foods. I kept the theme of the wedding but added in more moss and greenery to hint at the “golf” theme.

Golf Bar Wedding TreatsGolf Scotch Bar Wedding DessertsAre those cookies not fantastic? I gave her a picture of Henry and she turned it into a cookie. Not an edible image cookie. She actually drew him out in icing. Incredible! Who, you ask? That would be Cookies Are My Canvas. She made all the cookies you see. Like the Glenlivet scotch bottles. The detail, oh my word!  And that adorable striped stand you see? Made by Magnolia Creative Co! I have talented friends, what can I say.

Scotch Bar Details at Pizzazzerie's WeddingThe napkins were custom made and oh so cute. I chose the quote below + of course, the little bow tie motif had to be included.
