Gender reveal parties are definitely a more modern celebration, but I think they are so fun and a great way to involve loved ones in the journey. For the most part we see mostly pink and blue themes so I am absolutely loving this truly gender neutral, You Are My Sunshine gender reveal party! “When asked to plan a gender neutral baby shower for a long time friend I knew exactly the theme for her. She is such a light for everyone she meets and this baby was sure to be a ray of sunshine just like Mama. We had so many fun decorations that were perfect for the nursery after the party. I always try to keep this in mind when planning a baby shower. I went with an activity rather than some of the traditional games ands it was a big hit. Blank onesies in all sizes and some fabric markers were provided and guests were instructed to create special gifts for baby. We just adore this gender reveal party and have definitely found lots of inspiration for not only other gender reveal parties but baby showers and children’s birthday parties too! From the raindrop garland (by Whimsical Zee) to the little jello bites, every single detail was so well thought out and coordinated to the theme! As a new mom myself, I love the decorated onesies because you go through so many in those early months that it is so cute to have personalized handmade onesies from those you love to help you through those crazy beginning weeks!
