Ombre Mermaid Birthday Party!
How darling is this ombre mermaid birthday party? I love the blends of tropical aquas and purple with pops of pink (the crab decorations on the cupcakes? TOO cute!). Mom (Morgann Perry of Adisten’s Closet) designed the party printables including invitations, party circles, “Thank You” tags, food labels, a Welcome sign, an “Under the Sea” and “Mermaid Lagoon” banner and coordinating birthday shirt. Go Mom! They are all so adorable (and if you love them too – you can find them in her shop). Check out the cuteness…
As guests arrived, they took photos with the birthday girl at “Mermaid Lagoon” with props such as party printable star fish, sea horse, fish and birthday signs, pettiskirts, crowns, pom pom wands, and pirate swords and patches for the boys. The invitations with an aqua ombre scallop background set the tone for the party! The birthday girl wore an aqua and purple deluxe pettiskirt and coordinating party shirt (you can find these for your own little girl here).
“The dessert table!!! The week before the party I was still stuck on what to do about the table cloth. Then it hit me while I was driving! I rallied my Mum the next day and we spent the whole day making this beautiful ombre scallop table cloth. It was the perfect touch and really tied the whole party decor, cake, and party printables together.” – Morgann
As Adisten’s guests left the party, they were each given a fish bowl complete with fish food and special fish water to take home with their beta fish! Each of Adisten’s little friends was given a “My Name is….” tag, had to think of a name for their fish, and tie their name tag onto the fish container.

How adorable! I love love love the scalloped table skirt, and the way it echoes the design of the cake.
I love the idea of giving the kiddos a fish to take home! Too cute!
Living creatures are not party favors. Giving out fish is incredibly irresponsible.
I completely agree. Horrible to give live creatures to children and probably without the parents consent before hand,.
it’s a fish, not a kitten. it’s not like a fish is that much responsibility or has that long of a life span. sheesh.
love this party! how did you make the ombre scalloped table skirt??
I agree, Jennifer! Relax, people! Geez!
Stunning!!!
This is a definite party theme for all the redheaded Ariel’s in my life! Baby Charlotte get ready. I loved my beta fish!
Where did you get that scalloped table cloth?
Hi Nikki – you’ll want to reach out to the person who submitted this party – credits are at the bottom of this post. We just featured it.
How do I get all of this for my girls birthday she will be 5 July 30
