Clifford the Big Red Dog Birthday Party!

Clifford The Big Red Dog Inspired Birthday Party!Clifford was one of my favorite characters growing up, and I’m so glad to see that kids still love the big red dog today! Kathy of Tickled Peach Studio hosted a CLIFFORD the BIG RED DOG Inspired Birthday Party for her daughter’s 3rd birthday – CUTE! The details are amazing from the “puppy chow” to the big red 3 pinata! Kathy DIY’d many of the items you’ll see in the pictures. I know this party will give you lots of inspiration and ideas if your kids love Clifford too!

Kathy shared details on the pinata: “In the book “Clifford’s Birthday Party”, Clifford gets a piñata for his birthday. So when I came across a tutorial pinned on Pinterest for a DIY number piñata I knew we had to make a big red three! The kids (and adults) had a blast hitting the piñata. The inside was filled with the birthday girl’s favorite treats – Reese’s peanut butter cups, Kit Kat bars, and lollipops. The little guests were given personalized take home treat bags for their candy.”

Clifford the Big Red Dog Party Treats!

Clifford Birthday PartyClifford The Big Red DogThis party is already totally adorable but the fact that there is a CRAFT TABLE just speaks to my heart! Parties for little ones are best when there is an activity or some sort of game. A Craft Table is PERFECT because they can keep the kids occupied and allow the kids to create something fun to take home (favor!).

Details from Kathy: “The activity table had coloring sheets, markers, crayons, stickers, and a bean shaker for each of our little guests. The bean shakers were made from Crystal Light plastic containers. I added some dry beans, taped down the lid, and wrapped them in red construction paper. Each little guest had their own shaker with their name on it that they decorated with stickers. They had a blast making music with them and it was a fun take home gift!”

Kathy shared more details including food served and DIYs made!

“We are HUGE fans of Clifford The Big Red Dog in our house! So when it came to picking a theme for my daughter’s third birthday I knew without a doubt that it would have to be a Big Red Third birthday! I went with a bright primary color scheme of red, blue, and yellow. I created a lot of DIY crafts for the party including triangle buntings, pinwheel fans, table centerpieces, confetti, and a big red three piñata. Food served included hot dogs, sub sandwiches, and dog bone shaped PB&J sandwiches for the little guests. The treats on the dessert table included a vanilla cake, vanilla cupcakes, puppy chow, rice crispy treats, chocolate dipped pretzel rods, and cookies.”
