Firemen Birthday Party

Firemen Birthday Party

Are you drooling over this birthday yet?  I sure am because it is jam packed with fun details from Houston’s 3rd Birthday party that we all get to  enjoy captured by Catherine of Peacock Photography!  Kristen from Frills Consulting in Austin, Texas sent me this birthday party and I knew I had to share it with you all.  Little boys dream of growing up to be three things: a superhero, policemen, and in this case a firemen.

All of the children that attended got their own firemen’s hat to wear with their name on it, as they were part of Houston’s Fire Department crew for the day.  The firemen theme was carried through to the cake balls, so artistically designed by the fabulous Austin Cake Ball company.  They seriously make mini pieces of art with each of these, and who doesn’t love a bite size piece of cake!  Kristen created each of the cupcake square flags using blue and red patterned paper used throughout the birthday party.  All of the patterns were used in the cute Happy Birthday banner as well as the topper of the favors and food cards!  In addition to all of the details that Kristen thought up, she also invited a local fire department to come out so all of the kids could be up close and personal to the big red truck!

Kristen shared with us some details about reaching out to fire departments to stop by your birthday party.  “Most fire departments love the opportunity to come out to kids birthday parties to get children more comfortable with them & their equipment.  This is a community service that most offer at no cost and is a GREAT source of entertainment for the kiddos!” I think this is a great service that they offer to the community and I’m sure these kids will always remember Houston’s birthday party!
