What a SWEET day for Icing Designs – celebrating their “Blogiversary“! I had the pleasure of meeting Melissa & Kellie of Icing Designs in New York City for the Martha Stewart Dreamers Event earlier this year. We instantly clicked. They made such a sweet impression on both me and my Mom. Sweet + Creative + Gorgeous! They are just as darling as their designs. Speaking of blog birthdays, our is MARCH 16th and we have some Icing Designs included in our birthday party so STAY TUNED!

When deciding how to celebrate 1 year, Melissa & Kellie looked back at their Cupcake Couture collection that was SO successful for them! Browse it for a second and it’s not hard to see why it took off! They wanted to create something for “Tweens” so this was the perfect opportunity. The “Cupcake Couture Mini“ was born and we’re excited to showcase it today! Read on for the details and DIY ideas from this pretty pink celebration….

Vintage & French…

Melissa & Kelly shared their inspiration and party details… “We wanted the shoot to reflect us and what we have been doing over the past year with our love for all things vintage and French! So we made and decorated all of the desserts, including the cake, cupcakes and parfaits. We also did the photography. The rosette lollipop is a DIY project we created last year.  The little tulle pom poms that are on the table are also a DIY project we did last year for Kellie’s daughters’s birthday.”

What a fabulous collection this would be for a girl’s birthday party, sleepover, baking party, girly gathering, fashion party, you name it! It’s absolutely adorable. And having seen many of their products firsthand, the quality is unmatchable. Icing Designs is my fave! This collection also has a “blonde” design!
