Monster Bash Birthday Party

monster birthday bash party

Are you ready for one of the coolest party themes around?! This Monster Birthday Bash is full of spooky treats and lots of one-eyed goblins. Orange + green were the perfect colors for this monster fete designed by Jacob’s mom who happens to be a fabulous designer and owner of Shindig Diva! I have so many faves from this party that I don’t even know where to start!

From the cake to the monster place settings, not a detail was left out. I also love the creativity of the mummy drink bottles! Clever little details like this make even a spooky Monster party become a WOW event! Plus, spooky teeth treats made fun photo props too!

Tara of Shindig Diva shared lots of party inspiration on how she created a Monster Birthday Bash like no other! “There is fabulous inspiration out there for monster themed party. I love that Pinterest is available to keep track of all of these fabulous ideas because I never could. One of the biggest wow factors from this party was the cake! It was really big and really orange. I found this idea on Oh Dee Doh. I asked my talented friend Carrie to re-create the cake and she did a phenomenal job!

Another party favorite was the SLIME and I have several sources for this idea The Idea Room and Chez Beeper Bebe. The kids love, love, loved this. They each got to mix up their own batch of slime, pick the color and threw in a monster for good measure. Another element that really turned into a personal favorite was the watermelon monster head which I got from Makin Mud Pies. I love coordinating food and the theme. This was fun because it was so big and unique. Really fun wow factor!

We also had some fun with toilet paper…yes toilet paper. We played the old classic mummy wrap race. Each pair got a roll of toilet paper and one child was the mummy and one was the wrapper. The first pair to completely use a roll of toilet paper wrapping their partner as a mummy won. So funny!! Monster masks purchased from Oriental Trading were adorable and fun for the kids.”

  1. Where did you get the awesome monster decorations and cups? We are doing a Monster mash for my son next month and I can’t find good monster decorations.
