Over the Rainbow Birthday Party

Amazing, right? That’s what we said when Bird Crafts sent us this darling rainbow themed children’s party! Perfect for a “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”/Wizard of Oz party too! Bright colors are a favorite for children’s parties and this party showcases how you can use a rainbow theme from your tablecloth all the way to hanging decor. I love the hanging globes filled with crepe paper! And the tablecloth – NO SEW – this was made using lots of crepe paper and double sided table. Love an easy, no sew tablecloth idea. I also LOVE the idea of calling the cupcakes “cloud cakes”. Little touches like that take your party from cute to WOW!

A rainbow theme is great for a boy/girl joint part as well as a crafts party! Set out stations for paint, crayons, playdough, cupcake decorating, etc and let the kids play artist!
