Owl 5th Birthday Party

Hoot Hoot, this party is CUTE! You might remember Jenny Cookies from one of our holiday posts – Gingerbread House Party! Jenny is an extremely talented baker who designs cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and more. Her daughter recently turned 5 and this talented Mom designed a fabulous OWL PARTY! Jenny left no detailed out as everything is just darling!

The Invitation

The inspiration for the Owl Party Invitation came from her daughter’s Pottery Barn Kids bedding (Green gingham, bright pink polka dots, brown polka dots, floral patterns and owls). The invites were designed by Sara of Less Ordinary Designs.

Jenny describes how she came up with the cute tablecloths! “Lucky me, I found brown table cloths on clearance at Target for $5/each. Kinda plain, but I had bought some pink tulle panels at PBK on sale for $4.97-40%. I thought they could be sewn around the hem of the tablecloths to add a little something girly. My friend Lorelei offered, and in addition ALSO sewed on the cutest polka dots in green gingham, pink polka dot, brown polka dot and pink floral fabric.”

From the muslin bags to the gorgeous cake, Jenny wins Super Mom of the year in our book! She said, “The kids had a great time painting ceramic owls, making pinecone owls, playing musical chairs and fly the owl to the tree.”

Happy Birthday to Ally!
