Pink Ballerina Birthday Party
Do you have a little ballerina? She will surely love this pink ballerina party designed by Ellen Besette of Whimsical Mod Parties! Full of tulle, polka dots, and sweet treats, we think this is every little ballerina’s dream party! Ellen shared, “I styled this party for a friend’s daughter’s 4th birthday. The party was held in a dance studio where the girls danced around the studio, played dress up and decorated tiaras with tissue paper and gemstones!”
Pink Ballerina Birthday Party Tables
“For the table centerpieces, I used Blumeboxes (love those) and personalized by making accordion flowers, using custom party printables, adding white feather boas around the rim and using lots of ribbon to match the theme. Along w/the accordion flowers, I added lollipops to the blumeboxes and personalized the lollipops with stickers from the custom printable pack my client/friend purchased. I wanted to incorporate something fun for the kids and what child doesn’t love lollipops?!” – Ellen of Whimsical Mod Parties
“I made the runner from fabric purchased at
Joanne Fabrics. And I matched the fabric that I used for the backdrop for the dessert table to tie it all together. I made placecards for the girls, tied ribbon around the napkins and wrapped the bottled waters with personalized labels. Lastly, I made
tulle pom poms to place in between my centerpieces and then added some
yummy pink/white taffy for the tabletop.” – Ellen of Whimsical Mod Parties
Pink Ballerina Party Desserts
“I took a plain, old cupcake tier and decorated it with white, pink and hot pink rhinestones along the edges of the tiers to add some bling. Added polka dot paper to the columns and then wrapped the cupcakes in the matching paper. On the top tier, I made a tulle pom pom and added a sweet tiara on top and then for the bottom tier I made a little tutu.
The 8 foot tutu table skirt was hand-tied by yours truly but I recycled from a previous party so I was happy to get more use out of it.
I made two large accordion flowers to go alongside the cupcakes and placed them into glass vases wrapped w/decorative paper.” Ellen of Whimsical Mod Parties
“The other sweets on the table included large
white/pink marshmallows, personalized lollipops, pink jellybeans wrapped in tulle and white/pink taffy. The party favors were the adorable tutu purses. I had to add them to the table since they were too cute not to display. The glittery dress form on the table was purchased from
Hobby Lobby and the tutu on the dress form came from one of my daughter’s closets. The
ballerina necklace holders were also purchased at
Hobby Lobby and I dressed them up with matching ribbon and rhinestones to add to our theme.” – Ellen of Whimsical Mod Parties
