Tutus + Bow Ties Birthday Party!
Tutus & Bow Ties! What could be a cuter theme? Bow Ties are one of my FAVORITE things (wait until you see my wedding pictures), so this party totally had me squealing when it popped into our inbox. The vintage twists on this darling party are just adorable. Holly of Holly Days designed this party for her daughter who loves dancing in her tutu on a daily basis but also has little boys as friends who loved the bow tie addition to the party! We’re smitten…
Holly shared some inspiration + party details with us!
“All the girls who came received a handmade tutu (made by a dear friend) and a rosette hairclip. The boys received a bow tie. A consistent fabric scheme was carried out through the entire party, from the invitation (decorated with a tulle tutu tied with a bow tie) to the wearable bow ties, fabric strip bows on the tutus and the fabric ruffle streamer draped across the buffet table. I stopped by a furniture restoration shop in my neighborhood to inquire about a piece of furniture that was sitting outside and they gave it to me for free! With a quick coat of paint the party’s focal point was complete! During the party, we had sweet children’s ballet music playing in the background and the children could dance and watch themselves in a large mirror.” – Holly

Can you send me the recipe for the pink champagne popcorn?? Please, and Thank You! Bookmarking this for the future – can’t wait!
Hi Rachel!
The popcorn is super easy- it is actually just white chocolate covered popcorn. I popped regular popcorn (no butter) and then spread it out on a cookie sheet and drizzled it with white chocolate that I had dyed a pale pink. Let dry and then it is ready to go!
Love every detail!! Where did you get the invitations and cupcake toppers from? Many Thanks!
Hi Carli! This is a featured submission. Credits will be at the bottom of the post :)
