Backyard Mother’s Day Luncheon

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a backyard garden luncheon for Mom! With spring underway, add in touches of the season with butterfly cookies and lots of flowers!

We LOVE these intricate butterfly cookies at each place setting. We can picture them for a children’s party with a butterfly theme too). Paired with daisies, this mother’s day luncheon is perfect for enjoying out in the garden. Simply drape a card table with a patterned fabric for an easy “outside” table!

We made mini cupcake stands out of glass candlesticks and mini glass plates. They were perfect for simple vanilla almond cupcakes decorated with a real daisy! We wrapped the daisy stem in a bit of aluminum foil and gently placed it inside the cupcake. Easy + cute!

Simple blue and green boxes held sweet favors to go – and a special extra treat for Mom! What is so important to notice is that tables look gorgeous in a color palette, you certainly do not have to match every single hue. The lime and aqua of the favor box blends beautifully with the subtle blues and yellows in the table linens and cookies.
