My Black and White Striped Wedding!
Oh, it’s been far too long since I shared some more of my wedding details. I had all these plans to share the wedding details a long time ago, oops. This little project got in the way! Never too late though because this post is about my FAVORITE wedding detail: my tables! They were my favorite detail to plan and design. My Mom and I designed the basic “idea” of black-and-white stripes, bow tie napkins, mini cake favors, moss table numbers, etc. Of course a bride would have a hard time executing the tables on the big day so the fabulous Hillary of Brocade Designs not only did all florals but oversaw the tablescape set-up! She’s a gem!Â
Here are some details of the tablescapes!
Bow Tie Napkins: My Mom and I picked up the black napkins early and she put them into cute “bow shapes” and wrapped with black-and-white striped ribbon.
Moss Table Numbers: I found these cute moss numbers from Katie Rebecca Events and Mom and I put them on top of wooden sticks in mini white pots filled with more moss. We also added a big black and white striped bow.
Calligraphy Menu: Sweet Natalie Chang is so talented, and she did the calligraphy for the Menus in white on green (design with Amber Housley).
Mini Wedding Favors: Each place setting featured a super cute tiered sugar wedding cake (made by Mom) and it opened up to hold green candies! Mom put them in clear boxes and tied with black and white stripe bows. These were my favorite detail!
Runner: Mom sewed a super-long black and white striped runner from fabric for the head table!
White Lanterns & Vases: I slowly collected white lanterns from HomeGoods during my engagement and spray painted them white. They were on the tables and scattered throughout the venue. I also bought these modern, white urn vases from ZGallerie and used them on the head table.
Florals: Brocade Designs did all florals and I can’t say enough fabulous things! Highly recommended!

Hope you LOVE them! :)
I love this so much. Gorgeous!! Makes me want to blog my wedding deets too…maybe some day! ;)
I LOVE those table numbers. Your “theme” is totally tied together and fabulous…although I’m not surprised!
Oh my! I’m so in love with the stripes, the greens, the moss. Everything.
I would never thought of black nor black stripes for a wedding color, but this looks fabulous! Love the details, including the bow tie napkins. Very elegant!!
Hey…I recognize those pics! Good times! :-)
Are you selling anything from your Wedding Decor? My theme is My fair lady, and I would love to use some of your ideas for my perfect day.
Directo al grano y bien escrito, gracias tanto por la información
Where did you get you boxwoods? Are they preserved or fresh? If you DIY ed them do you have a tutorial? I LOVE boxwood!
Hi Brie! Our florist took care of those.
Now I will ask, are the square tables two tables put together? I absolutely love the look!
Fabulous runners! Curious, what kind of fabric did you Mom sew together for the runners?
I think it was a cotton blend? It was pretty heavy-weight.
Hi
I’m curious what kinda of fabric is that the striped
and were did you get it love it .
I Love every little detail. You did such a wonderful job. I was wondering where you purchased the two sizes of urns you have on one of the tables with the boxwood topiarys in them. Are they made of a light weight material or are they Wrought iron. My son is getting married and I would like to incorporate them in the centerpieces.
Black and white color combination is all that suits every occasion be it formal, informal, weddings etc. The basic ideas given in this post are quite amazing I liked it. Inaustralia bespoke suits have highly on color demands like black and white, it also can be a great trend.
